Dr. Sushil Singla
MD, FRCPC (Physiatry), FAAPMR, BSc.PT
Dr. Singla is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist having completed his residency training at the University of Louisville and clinical Fellowship at Northwestern University. His areas of special interest include sports and exercise injuries, and ultrasound-guided peripheral musculoskeletal injections (including corticosteroid, viscosupplementation, peripheral nerve blocks such as carpal tunnel injections, and trigger point therapy), Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, and adaptive sports medicine.
Dr. Singla's background includes four years of study in Physiotherapy at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. After completing training he worked as a Physiotherapist in the greater Vancouver area for over 4 years treating musculoskeletal and geriatric disorders. After obtaining his MD in 2016 from Windsor University School of Medicine, he helped provide medical coverage for many major sporting events throughout his training including the Ironman Louisville, Special Olympics Kentucky, University of Louisville Soccer, University of Louisville Track and Field, the National Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, and National Veterans Wheelchair Games.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Singla enjoys traveling the world, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with his family. He loves trying new food and outdoor activities.
