Dr. Craig Malli
MD, CCFP, CAQSM
Dr. Craig Malli is a dual certified Family and Sports Medicine Physician. He joins Restore Sports Medicine after completing his medical training in the U.S. He competed his family medicine residency at Sparrow Hospital/Michigan State University, in Lansing, Michigan in June of 2023. During his residency, he was exposed to patients in a variety of settings, and treated all ages from newborns to the elderly.
Dr. Malli then pursued a sports medicine fellowship at one of the founding fellowship programs in the U.S. at Michigan State University (MSU). He was responsible for evaluating and treating high level NCAA Division I athletes, in the athletic training room, outpatient clinic, and sidelines of sporting events. Dr. Malli obtained extensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound, fracture management, TENEX, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and Nerve hydro-dissection procedures, among others.
Dr. Malli's focus is on getting patients back to the activities they enjoy, whether they be a weekend warrior or a professional/collegiate athlete. He sees patients of all ages, including children. He enjoys completing ultrasound-guided injections and procedures including PRP therapy, visco-supplementation, Tenotomy, and Barbotage. In his spare time, he enjoys weightlifting, skiing, golf, and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
